Could you be the new face of the tropics?

Feature in Tropical North Queensland content

As the regional tourism organisation for Tropical North Queensland, it’s our goal is to inspire people to visit through creative marketing materials, but we need your help to do it!

We’re always on the hunt for fresh faces to feature in photo shoots, social media content and other marketing material. We feature people from all walks of life in our content, so no matter who you are or where you come from we’d love to hear from you.

What does it mean to be talent?

Despite the title, you don’t need any special talents to feature in content. In simple terms, being talent on a photo or film shoot means that you are in front of the camera.

Your job is to help us capture natural moments and reactions to experiences around the region, under the direction of the photographer or videographer.

Content may be used by TTNQ or our partners and members in marketing campaigns, social media, website and will be hosted on our image gallery. If you’d like to keep a copy of the content you are featured in, we are happy to provide this upon request under most circumstances.

What’s the next step?

Once you’ve registered your interest in featuring as talent, we will record your details in our database. We’ll reach out if there are any opportunities that we think you are suited for.

If you have any questions, or would like a bit more information, please contact us at [email protected]

Ever wanted to swim with the crocs? 🐊😳

Yeah neither have we, that’s why @wildlifehabitat built the croc tank where you can safely swim next to some magnificent saltwater crocodiles and see them in action right up close

Did you know that saltwater crocodiles don’t always live in salt water? Also known as the estuarine crocodile, these guys are more likely to be spotted in freshwater creeks and mangroves but are sometimes found travelling from one place to another through the ocean 🌊

If only every day could finish on a high like this 💫

@yagurlitours and @balloonaloft have teamed up to give you the chance to experience a breathtaking hot air balloon float over spectacular Gulf country 🌅✨

Australia’s largest salt pans can be found in Burketown in the Gulf of Carpentaria, country of the Gangalidda & Garawa peoples. This incredible tour teaches guests about connection to the land & how the intricate weave of patterns & textures below closely resemble the beautiful art they create 👣🌺

Tours are currently scheduled through July and August, so don’t miss your chance to experience the beauty of the outback from a balloon basket ☀️
