Cairns Airport

Cairns Airport is the main hub for Tropical North Queensland and is a gateway to the Great Barrier Reef and Wet Tropics World Heritage Rainforest. Flights arrive and depart from a number of domestic and international destinations, including Singapore, New Zealand and Japan. The airport is easily accessible and is located just ten minutes from the city centre.

Transport

Cairns Airport is a 10-minute drive from the centre of Cairns and approximately an hour from Port Douglas. Excellence coaches offer shuttle bus transfers to/from Cairns and Port Douglas. Car rental booths are located in the Arrivals Halls in each terminal. Limousine, taxi and ride-booking services are also available.
