The Tip of Cape York Peninsula

Feel Great Features

The Picture of Kindness

A photo is known to speak a thousand words and the photos below tell a tale of human kindness, strength and determination.

Anyone who visits the tip of Cape York knows that a photo with a sign is a must and the crew at Cockatours went out of their way to ensure that one guest was able to stand at the nothernmost point of the Australian continent to get that magic shot.

As a child, this guest contracted polio, meaning his mobility is significantly reduced. The Cockatours team and fellow guests banded together to help him make his way to the sign for this very special moment. And if you can’t tell from the smile on his face, he couldn’t be more thankful for this incredible experience.

Cockatours shares his journey in this heartwarming video
