Billy Tea Safaris is a truly local company, having been locally owned and operated since 1983 – the pioneers of the Daintree Rainforest tour!

Billy Tea Safaris is a leading eco-certified tour operator and provider of world-class, small group experiences with unique itineraries to the Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation as well as the Outback and Chillagoe Caves to the west of Cairns.

Tours are also available on a private charter basis allowing the day to be tailored to suit the guests’ activity level, special interests and time frame.

Operating a modern fleet of 19-seat vehicles, averaging less than 3 years of age, Billy Tea Safaris cater for individuals, couples, and families, as well as small to medium groups with multiple vehicles and guides available daily.

Billy Tea Safaris prides itself on being an Advanced Eco Accredited and an Eco-Tourism Hall of Fame operator, a Green Travel Leader, and Roc Certified (Respecting our Culture) in the Wet Tropics World Heritage areas that they operate.

Guests sit back and relax in comfort in a custom-built 4WD air-conditioned vehicle while listening to informative and entertaining commentary by their local eco-accredited naturalist guide for the day. Daintree Rainforest & Cape Tribulation Full Day Tour
