Event Details
Port Douglas Carnivale is a must-do for anyone who loves music, food and fun. The celebrations kick off with Savannah Sounds, a three-day live music festival set against the Coral Sea backdrop, headlined by major Australian artists including Jon Stevens, Vanessa Amorosi, Sneaky Sound System and Dragon, And supported with favourites such as Kingswood, Sara Berki, Austin Mackay and a strong lineup of local talent.
Beyond the main stage, Carnivale delivers a diverse program for all ages, with highlights including The Longest Lunch at Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort Port Douglas, and everyone’s favourite the vibrant Macrossan Street Parade, the Family Beach Day on Four Mile Beach, and the much-loved Paramour Cabaret showcasing cabaret, circus and evening theatre. From markets and fun runs to beachside dining and relaxed seaside activities, Carnivale continues to raise the bar, evolving from a local sugar cane harvest celebration into a signature Tropical North Queensland event that welcomes visitors for a long weekend of fun.
