Jungle Surfing takes you into the beating heart of the Daintree Rainforest on a guided ziplining experience through six tree platform and the world's first Human Hamster Wheel cable lift. This is nature's own spectacular high definition live stream.
The guides are with you every step of the way, sharing their wit and wisdom with interpretation on every platform and they also control your flight throughout the tour, so there’s absolutely no experience necessary, making the tour suitable for all ages from three to 103.
The platforms range from 3.5 to 19.5 metres above the ground and each one reveals a different level of the rainforest with unique and spectacular views into the canopy, over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the Great Barrier Reef.
There are up to 12 tours daily, with at least one hour up in the rainforest canopy. It’s essential to book, especially during school holidays.
Jungle Adventures also offer a night walk to experience the dark side of the Daintree. Armed with a flashlight, venture into a fascinating nocturnal world, where little has changed in 120 million years!
So what are you waiting for? Come and experience the rainforest for yourself.
The early bird may get the worm, but in the rainforest, night owls have all the fun.
Meet the Daintree’s fascinating nocturnal locals in the largest, natural open-air exhibit you’ve ever seen.
A Jurassic world where snakes and sleeping birds, bats and bandicoots, spiders, insects and dragons skulk in the shadows.
Join the night shift with their two-hour guided walk, leaving at 7.30pm from PK's Jungle Village in Cape Tribulation. Bookings essential.
Jungle Adventures Night Walks are not recommended for children under 8 years, however we do offer private walks for families with young children, tailored to your requirements and subject to availability.
Set in the pristine Daintree Rainforest at Cape Tribulation, the award-winning Jungle Surfing Canopy Tours takes you on a unique rainforest tour where your feet don't touch the ground. One of Queensland's 'must dos', Jungle Surfing tours last two hours and take you flying through the trees on flying fox ziplines, stopping at six tree platforms with spectacular bird's eye views over the treetops, down to cascading streams and out to the reef.
Fun, educational, all weather, fully guided and with harnesses to suit kids aged three up to adults weighing 120 kilograms, Jungle Surfing is the adventure activity for all ages.
